It is the belief of Faith Baptist Church that Biblical missions focuses on the Word of God, the spreading of the Gospel, and the church. It is also our belief that every tribe, nation, and tongue should have a gospel witness as well as a copy of the Bible in their heart language. Missionaries will be supported, or considered for support, only if their ministry focus is translating the Scripture or church planting. The translation will be to a language that currently does not possess the Scripture. Strategic personal involvement in church planting will be a continual practice for the span of the ministry.
We believe it is our responsibility to preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15) until all nations (Matthew 28:19) have heard. The members of Faith Baptist have made the financial support of global evangelization a high priority, and the church’s annual missions budget exceeds $132,000. Over the last decade we have sent over $1,250,000 to missionaries. In recent years we have focused our missions program to church planting efforts and to spreading the Gospel in 51 specific restricted or hostile nations that represent 4.2 billion people.
In addition to foreign missions, Faith Baptist is continually involved in helping to establish independent Baptist churches in the state of Indiana and in other places around the United States. The church frequently conducts foreign and domestic mission trips, to locations such as; Australia, New Zealand, Maldova, India, Romania, China, England, and Washington D.C.
